Gracias

Thank you to everyone that encouraged and supported me throughout the Numero Uno competition.

Numero Uno was a fantastic learning experience.  Everyone should have the opportunity to compete in a similar event while at business school.  I enjoyed meeting and working alongside India’s future leaders.

The competition spanned three long days, where I managed to sneek-in 7 hours of sleep.  Most people only saw the final presentations of the finalists, but the legwork that got us to the final round was the real challenge:

  1. Blogging on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
  2. Travel to Bangalore on Thursday (for most of the contestants)
  3. Competing in MarkStrat for 7 hours on Friday
  4. Developing a business plan for an e-commerce company (Friday overnight)
  5. Physical and teamwork competition (Saturday morning)
  6. Selling products on the streets of Bangalore (Saturday afternoon)
  7. Crafting a presentation for judges (Saturday overnight)
  8. Presenting as a team (Sunday morning)
  9. Final round: individual presentations and Q&A round (Sunday afternoon)
  10. Award ceremony (Sunday evening)

Here are a few photos from the event:

Thanks again, Roberto
